Changes in work practices brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic have significantly impacted organizations. Organizational climate and employee commitment, two important elements of the social environment at work, have also been affected. The tools used in the research described in this chapter were a diagnostic survey, the organizational climate questionnaire authored by Rosenstiel and Bögel, and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) questionnaire. The study group consisted of 599 employees of private enterprises in the SME sector. As a result of the presented research, we were able to diagnose the organizational climate in small and medium-sized enterprises in the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the level of the employees’ commitment to work and their mutual connections. The results showed that the organizational climate and commitment were above average in the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, a positive correlation between organizational climate and commitment to work was found.
