This article is the voice in a discussion on the business model and research tools to create innovative business models for companies seeking to increase the competitive advantage. The issue of business models is a new subject of study, especially for Polish researchers. Competing innovative business model it is also new trend. More and more companies is looking for ways to effectively implement innovation in the current business model or create business model that will be completely new to market. Important in this process is the understanding of the concept and correct selection of its components as it was discussed in the first part of this article. One of the most popular research tools that are currently used for the development of innovative business models is template business model (Business Model Canvas). And although this is not a perfect solution, it allows to think and implement innovative business models in coherent way. If so far the idea of creating business models has not got into the general awareness of people involved in the management, thanks to A. Osterwalder template, this situation can be changed. With one canvas (perhaps sometimes adapted to the situation of the company) we are able to create innovative business models. |
