| An increase in technical requirements for product quality requires the prediction of relationships in the technological system (TS) of part machining by cutting. It consists of a metal-cutting machine, a fixture, metal-cutting tools, and a workpiece, depending on the reliability indicators. The method of predicting the TS elements’ behaviour using Markov chains during part manufacture is presented in this paper. The previously obtained results were related to new machines, devices, and tools. These researches are focused on analysing changes in the marginal (maximum) cutting time depending on the change in the actual operating time of the fixture according to the regulated reliability metrics by the solution of the Kolmogorov–Chapman differential equations. The developed technique has been tested for milling the surface of the base OSHPV 25.001 to predict the impact of the fixture on ensuring the part quality. It has been established that a slight change in the marginal (maximum) cutting time occurs in the operating time range of fixtures from 0 to 1350–1400 h with a maximum device resource of 1500 h. A sharp increase in the probability of failure to provide the regulated parameters of the product occurs in the range of operating time of the fixture from 1350–1400 to 1500 h. Early decommissioning of the fixture 100–150 h faster than the recommended period, which corresponds to approximately 90–94% of its regulated resource, or control of the limit values of the cutting time, depending on the set production tasks, is a rational solution to the manufacturing problem. |
