| Digital accessibility is crucial for inclusive education, yet many language learning platforms remain inaccessible. This study evaluated five Polish web services for English language testing, focusing on universal design principles and using a mixed-methods approach (eye tracking, SUS survey, WAVE). Results show that adherence to the Simple and Intuitive Use principle was the strongest predictor of user satisfaction. While a baseline of technical accessibility is important, in-tuitive layout and clear information hierarchy were more decisive. Crucially, the study highlights that different methods measure distinct aspects of usability. Automated compliance failed to correlate with user satisfaction and visual search efficiency did not predict interactive task performance. |
