| Kapuścik et al. (2024) present an approach to gas sensors, in which the resistance of the sensor in air is compared with that in a mixture of argon and hydrogen. A difference by several orders of magnitude was observed. However, replacement of air with a mixture of argon and hydrogen can be easily detected w/o use of advanced and expensive materials. Practical problems in gas sensing relate mainly to detection of admixtures of foreign gases in air, and this is a completely different problem from that studied by Kapuścik et al. (2024). |
