| The development of competitiveness on world markets caused the need to increase production flexibility. An essential tool in achieving this purpose could be production scheduling. However, in this process, there are a lot of complex optimization problems. The paper presents the idea of production scheduling. First of all, the typical scheduling problems and methods of solving problems are described. Moreover, the idea of creating robust schedules are presented. In the final part of the paper the author presented concept of creating predictive schedules based on analyze of previous production process. |
