| The article presents research of air flow meters, which are the primary sensors and they are used to determine the opening time of the fuel injectors. In the research a specially developed laboratory models using air flow meters: LMM and HLM were exploited. This research included determination of the basic characteristics and dependencies of the both types of air flow meters. On the basis of this research it is possible to determine the technical condition of the sensor. Moreover, the article presents the possibilities of damage simulation and illustrative studies using the conventional diagnostic equipment. Also the advantages of using this type of laboratory models and diagnostic procedures in the training of future automotive diagnosticians were discussed. |
