| The article presents the test methods for the selected instrumental panel placed on the dashboard of cars. The tests include i. a. the components such as indicators, displays, controls, dials etc. For this purpose the models developed on the basis of laboratory equipment in the car Opel Vectra B and the Volkswagen Passat B5 were used. In addition, the measurements were made on a group of vehicles in which the circuit of indicators showed signs of damage. On the basis of these studies, the symptoms connected with the performance or failure of individual circuit elements of the instrumental panel were determined.
