Positron annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) and Doppler broadening of annihilation line (DBAL) technique are applied simultaneously to study rare-earth (RE) doped and co-doped multicomponent glasses of 60GeS2-20Ga2S3-20CsCl (GGS-CsCl) and 70GeS2-10In2S3-20CsBr (GIS-CsBr) systems with different amount of doping additives up to 0.5 mol%. The main feature from the results obtained is strong deviation in composition dependence of PALS and DBAL parameters for the alloy doped by 0.5 Tm2S3 mol% in GGS-CsCl system. Because of all investigated samples were prepared at the same experimental conditions, it is suggested that doping by the larger amount of RE elements rather than a synthesis procedure influences on the nanoscale free volume defect structure in such complex multicomponent chalcohalide glasses. |
