| The new rivet constructions, which can be proposed to apply for an aeronautical use, are presented. The new rivet concept is basing on two parts rivets. Each part consists of a head and a shank but one shank is in a fonn of a pin and another is in a form of a sleeve. Closing up of the rivets consists ofioirang ofthese two rivef parts. Joining is the consequence ofplastic deformation of constifuent rivet shanks. The first step of the new rivet investigations have been done. Different materials (e.g. pure aluminium, copper and aluminium, copper alloys) were applied for manufacturing the constituent rivet parts. Longitudinal-sections of the new rivet joint showed a good structural connection of component parts. This enabies to suppose, that presented idea of the new rivet is correct and should be developed. |
