Numerical modeling of water quality can be used to identify pollution sources, track their movements and determine the location of the measuring points. In recent years, it is also used to water quality monitoring, also to determination of additional disinfection points. In this study the concentrations of free chlorine at selected points of the water supply network, were determined. These data were used to calibrate the water quality model by means of the program AQUIS. based on the summary report of calibration for the chemical - chlorine, calculated and observed average concentrations of chlorine in the network was 0.11 mgCl/dm. The maximum value of the correlation between the average was 0,8454, and should be regarded as high. In the group of nodes that were located closest to the water supply station, which is clostest to the introduction of chlorine into the network, computer simulation results are very similar to the results of tests performed in the field.
