The article presents research related to the design of a dispersed, multi-sensor system for monitoring flood embankments. Designing and creating such a system is not an easy task, because it consists of knowledge and experience from many fields. One can mention the use of electrical tomography for non-invasive observation of objects such as floods or industrial tanks. The monitoring system includes various types of sensors and meters used to determine, for example, wind strength, ambient temperature, but in this work the authors focused mainly on the use of electrical tomography. The operation of the system is based on observing the environment using various types of intelligent measurement methods, but also on an analytical system based on computational intelligence algorithms used for data analysis and visualization. An important part of the system is a platform that provides devices with interfaces for data exchange, collection and storage of historical data, ensuring access to data by analytical systems. |
