Combustion diagnostics aims to ensure efficiency and stability of the process. Application of optoelectronic systems that monitor the combustion process enables to retrieve information from a flame in a non-invasive way, and the acquired signals are subjected to further processing. The article presents the analysis of flame luminosity signals obtained when pulverized coal and a mixture of coal with biomass were combusted. The studies were conducted using Fourier transform and multiresolution analysis of signals obtained from the selected flame zone. The results obtained were used to characterize the combusted fuel changes in flame luminosity |
