| Electrical Impedance Tomography (EIT) is severely ill-posed, and classical Total Variation (TV) regularization often trades edge sharpness for stability. We present an unrolled reconstruction method that alternates a physics-based TV dataconsistency step with a learned Graph U-Net proximal step on the FEM element graph. Herzberg et al. show that a domain-independent Graph U-Net can improve early-iterate TV reconstructions and generalize when trained on simple 2D simulations [1]. In contrast, our approach embeds the learned regularizer inside the solver loop and composes TV and GNN updates for several iterations, learning an iterative reconstruction trajectory rather than a one-shot correction. |
